General Information

What is SkillsCourses?

SkillsCourses is an e-learning platform created by NTIM & EUROMASC in 2024 to offer a range of courses developed through EU-funded projects.

Who can enrol in courses?

Anyone can enrol in our courses.

What types of courses do you offer?

We provide courses created in various EU-funded projects, focusing on innovative learning experiences.

Are the courses accredited or certified?

You will receive an automatic certificate from the platform upon course completion. Some courses connected to specific projects have additional certification or accreditation procedures. Please check the FAQ on the relevant project site for more information.

Are the courses available in multiple languages?

Most courses are available in multiple languages. For detailed information about language options for specific courses, visit the project page linked to the course.

Account and Registration

How do I create an account?

To create an account, register on the registration page. You will be prompted to register when you click “Start Course,” or you can find the registration form in the footer of the website.

Can I change my username or email address after registration?

You cannot change your username after registration. Your username will be displayed on your certificate, so it is highly recommended to use your first and last name. You can log in using either your email address or username.

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

You can reset your password in the “My Account” section, located at the top right corner of the header.

Can I delete my account?

Enrolment and Access

How do I enrol in a course?

Once you’ve found the course you want to take, click the “Take Course” button. This will direct you to the registration page, where you can create an account and be automatically enrolled in the course.

Please select a username you would like to have displayed on on your certificate, e.g. First and Last Name.

You will now have a user account on the Skillscourses platform and be automatically enrolled in the selected course. If you wish to enroll in another course later, you won’t need to register again.

Are there any prerequisites for the courses?

Prerequisites vary by course. Please check the project page or course details before enrolling. Most courses are open to all but are designed with a specific EQF level in mind.

How long do I have access to the courses after enrolment?

There is no time limit for accessing courses after enrolment.

Can I retake a course I’ve completed?

By default, you cannot retake a course after completion. However, contact support at contact[at]ntim.org for assistance.

How to find the courses?

There are two ways to find courses on our platform, both accessible from the menu at the top right of the page:

  1. Courses” Page: Browse a comprehensive list of all available courses. Use search or filters to narrow your options.
  2. Project” Page: Find information about projects linked to courses, along with direct course links. This is useful if a project includes multiple courses.

Navigating the Course

How do I navigate a course?

Each course consists of modules, which include lessons and assessments. Use the menu on the left or scroll to the bottom of each page and click “Complete Lesson” to progress.

Assessment

Courses include one or more assessment scenarios, typically in a multiple-choice quiz format. These are graded automatically, and retakes may be allowed, depending on the course.

Course Content and Progress

How do I track my progress in a course?

You can track your progress using the progress bar. This is visible on the “Courses” page, project-specific course overview, or in “My Account” > “My Courses.”

Can I download course materials?

Some courses offer downloadable materials, as indicated in the course details.

Are the courses self-paced or instructor-led?

All SkillsCourses courses are self-paced.

What happens if I don’t finish a course on time?

There are no deadlines, so you can complete courses at your own pace.

Certificates

Do I get a certificate upon completing a course?

Certificates are issued automatically upon meeting course requirements. Some projects offer additional certifications. Check the project-specific FAQ for details.

How can I customise or change the name on my certificate?

Certificates display your username. For changes, email support at contact[at]ntim.org.

How do I download my certificate?

Certificates are available as PDFs. Click “View Certificate” and use your browser’s download function.

Where can I find my certificate?

After completing your course, your certificate will be available immediately. You can access it in the following ways:

  • Immediately after completion:
    • Click the “View Certificate” button that appears at the end of the course.
  • Later access:
    • Navigate to “My Account” and click “My Courses”. From the drop-down menu at the top, select “Completed” courses, then click “View Certificate” next to the course.
Can I share my certificate on LinkedIn or other platforms?

Yes! Download the certificate and upload it to your preferred platform.

Languages

Can I change the platform’s language?

Click the flag icon at the bottom of the page to change the platform’s interface language. Note: course languages depend on the project.

What devices and browsers are supported?

Our platform supports all major devices and browsers.

I’m experiencing issues with video playback. What should I do?
