The “Healthcare-ICT” is a 5-module course aimed at up-skilling healthcare workers, particularly medical, technicians, on the topic aforementioned
In the first module, we will clarify what an Electronic Health Record is and how it is applied.
We will touch upon the main aspects and the benefits that the adoption of healthcare data digitization brings.
From Module 2 onwards, we will delve more deeply into the management of clinical data using RIS/PACS systems, particularly diagnostic images. It will be important to understand the architecture of the systems in use and how the flow of data is expected from diagnosis to storage and consultation.
The technical aspects underlying these systems, both hardware and software, will be explained in detail. The resources required to implement the system will be described, including those related to personnel and required skills.
