Course introduction
This course is designed to provide health operators with the information and strategies needed to perform in the demanding, challenging and high-pressure environments they face daily. The course is focused on enhancing both personal well-being and professional performance and it explores key areas for sustaining long-term resilience and effectiveness in the healthcare system.
The course is divided into three modules, each targeting specific aspects of resilience for health operators. The first module focuses on stress management and it covers two main lessons: stress management at individual level and at organizational level, offering techniques to understand and mitigate the impact of stress in the healthcare environment. Participants will learn to recognize and prevent burnout. The second module addresses critical thinking, helping learners improve their ability to make sound decisions quickly, assess complex situations, and remain adaptable in rapidly changing clinical settings. The third module focuses on communication at both individual and organizational level, an essential skill for fostering collaboration in the medical team and reducing conflicts in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting. Effective communication not only improves medical team relationships, but also enhances patient care.
Through interactive lessons, real-life scenarios and practical examples, this course empowers health operators to build a foundation of resilience that supports both their professional responsibilities and personal well-being.
