Learning outcomes
Through a combination of theoretical concepts and practical examples, participants will:
- Understand the fundaments of biogas.
- Identify feedstock and design diets to produce biogas.
- Learn biochemical and microbial processes involved in anaerobic digestion.
- Understand biogas qualitu requirements and evaluate upgrading technologies.
- Understant digestate composition and its uses and technologies to process it.
The course gives a holistic understanding of the biogas production value chain, from feedstock to end-use products. Furthermore, it will allow students to achieve practical skills to design, operate and optimize biogas systems and related technologies.
